Hand Sanitiser Launched For Aldi in just 6 weeks to Meet Swine Flu Demand
A brand new hand sanitiser spray has launched in just three weeks to meet “overwhelming” demand caused by the swine flu epidemic.
The Bugs Away hand sanitiser spray is an extension of the existing Bugs Away anti-bacterial surface wipes, sold by Homepride.
The new hand foamer was requested by supermarket Aldi six weeks ago, as demand increased for anti-bacterial products.
The foamer will be on sale in all Aldi stores in the next few weeks, and is now being offered to all other retailers.
Unlike other hard surface cleaners, the formula used in Bugs Away wipes was derived from cosmetic technology, making it gentle and kind to skin. That made a transition to a skin application much easier.
Bugs Away wipes are the UK’s only “skin safe” anti-bacterial surface wipes, and have seen a stunning 250 per cent increase in sales in recent months.
The formula in the Bugs Away wipes and sanitiser spray has been independently proven to combat superbugs such as C. Difficile, along with a host of viruses, moulds and other dangerous bacteria.
